After her first three years learning to raise sheep and learning to process wool from sheep to sweater, Shannon knew well the high demand for fiber mills that could process for handspinners and small farmers. It became the dream she didn't know she had!
The mill is in the process of procuring equipment before it can find a location to set up, but the dream and the plan is to land in Winchester, NH. Winchester has a history deeply rooted in woolen mills and tanneries and is located in a bit of a geographic gap between other processors. Winchester being Shannon's town of residence, she also feels strongly about supporting the local community and serving the many small farms surrounding it.
